Sites should be operational right now and everything should work fine right now. We have no indications that other systems including core distribution was accessed, so there is no immediate cause for concern there. Because it is a faster emulator you can set your 'Frame Delay' setting in the Video options of Retroarch to a much higher setting in return reducing input latency.
